Berkeley Modular was the first company to receive planning approval within the Ebbsfleet Enterprise Zone sites for its state-of-the-art modular homes factory.  This advanced manufacturing facility and offices sits on a 10-acre site and will provide over 200 new jobs.

The Ebbsfleet Garden City development

The Garden City is benefiting from substantial Government investment and by 2035 will provide up to 15,000 new homes for a growing workforce keen to live, work and play in this highly-connected, vibrant and sustainable community.

Delivery of the Ebbsfleet enterprise zone sites is led by the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation in partnership with Dartford and Gravesham borough councils.

Serving both Southeastern and High Speed 1 services, the station is now seen as a major interchange with a sizeable London-bound commuter population in and around Gravesham.

Northfleet East

One of the three sites within Ebbsfleet Garden City, close to the River Thames, Gravesend town centre and complementing major new residential development. Berkeley Modular occupies the major portion of the site, smaller unit development proposed on the remainder targeting Advanced Manufacturing, Construction Technologies, Digital Technologies.

Northfleet West

One of the 3 sites within Ebbsfleet Garden City, linking the Thames to the heart of Ebbsfleet with potential for over 37,000m2 of larger format industrial and high-tech workshop facilities and intended as a centre of excellence. Complementary to sectors: Construction Technologies, Advanced Manufacturing, Design.

Gravesend - Tilbury Passenger Ferry

A regular ferry service operates from Monday to Saturday between Gravesend and Tilbury riverside (including the Thames Estuary Freeport).

Ebbsfleet International Station

Travel to St Pancras International and the heart of London in just 17 minutes on High Speed 1. Or take the Eurostar service to Paris, Brussels and Lille and onwards to the rest of Europe (services currently not stopping at Ebbsfleet or Ashford International stations - to be reviewed in 2022).

Ebbsfleet Garden City

Ebbsfleet Garden City hosts a cluster of three sites that together form part of the North Kent Enterprise Zone: Northfleet Rise, located next to Ebbsfleet International station, and Northfleet West and East, both next to the River Thames embankment. These sites will offer high-quality innovation space, including office space and industrial units. Ebbsfleet Garden City is only 17 minutes from London St Pancras, with the possibility of being served by Crossrail in the future.
